Web Design
Every
project is different both in size and content, and for that reason, details
of your project are necessary before a quote can be given. With some
basic information regarding the elements of your project, we
can approximate our time involved and quote a project price or an hourly
rate.
Factors
considered in determining the cost of a given website include, but are
not limited to, the following:
-
number of pages
-
graphics requirements (logos, banners, buttons, bullets, animations,
scanning of photos)
-
PDF document creation
-
forms, frames, javascripting
Web Maintenance
Once your initial site design is complete, regular
updates are encouraged to keep your site fresh and to keep clients and
spiders coming back. I charge $45 an hour for site maintenance
with a minimum quarter-hour charge. If you know your site will
require regular weekly updates, a set monthly fee can be arranged based
on the estimated number of hours needed.
I am able to keep my rates affordable by being a home-based business,
thus eliminating the high overhead of many design firms, and passing
the savings on to my clients. I also try to work as much as possible
via email and telephone in order to save the time and money involved
in frequent face-to-face meetings.
Most clients elect to consult and send documents to me via email or fax.
